Everything about marea magazine was exciting, it´s a project I hold close to my heart because it made me realize how beautiful and complete design can be.
Choose James and the giant peach because I found the book frigthening as a child and thought the cover should show that.
really rough draft of the main elements I wanted to display, I wanted for the peach to be not only the main cover but the back cover too, to show how big it ts, and for it to have a really dark background representing the night and transmiting how scary it is

read the book and designed the cover and end papers, sadly lost the mockup 🙁
tried to represent alice -the pawn in the real world- as the queen in that other fantastic world
since -in my perspective- she felt helpless with no power or influence, but in that incredible world she is fearless
